The kit Includes Two GrillGrate Panels and the GrateTool. GrillGrates are a major improvement on the grilling surface that you know and GrillGrate will simply help you grill food better! The two GrillGrate panels form a 10.5" x 13.75" grill surface, additional panels can be added to cover the entire surface of the grill.
GrillGrate panels can eliminate flare-ups caused by dripping grease and act like a shield from the heat, protecting your food from burning or drying out. The valleys are where the Juices sizzle and steam back up to make for juicier and even more flavor in your foods. The rail design creates perfect sear marks every time. Using your GrillGrate for daily grilling is healthier because the fats drip through down through the holes in the grates and burn up on the bottom of the GrillGrate and not outside your food so charring is also prevented. This process allows the GrillGrate to season with use.The included GrateTool, used as a a spatula couples with the raised rail design to make it easier to grill pizzas, fish, vegetables and other delicate grilled items.
GrillGrates used on an older grill with any hot spots, will smooth out the grilling surface for less hot spots for even cooking. The anodized panels provide enhanced conduction, convection and infrared cooking process that normal grates cannot achieve. The hard anodized finish on the GrillGrates is twice as harder as stainless steel and will not rust over time. GrillGrates are easy to clean on the grill or in the sink using a sponge, or scrubbing pad.
