Big Butz BBQ Sauce: Gary Glen Review

The Gary Glen Experience

Gary Glen Reviews: Big Butz BBQ Sauce Cranberry and Hot!

We just love Gary Glen’s Blog The Gary Glen Experience, first of all he is from Chicago and anyone who can BBQ and grill year round in Chicago is a friend of ours. His site is very extensive in what he offers his extensive passion for BBQ and applies it to his reviews, recipes and product recommendations.   The Gary Glen Experience is a first class BBQ blog. We discovered Gary Glen on Twitter, and you can follow @GaryGlen on Twitter as a respected member of the BBQ community. BBQ Pro Shop just started to carry Yah Butz Big Butz BBQ Sauce and Gary recently reviewed Big Butz BBQ Sauce and here is an excerpt from what we would consider a professional review:

Apply the Meat Taste Test

On a batch of grilled chicken thighs and smoked pulled pork, I ran the sauces through some paces. The original hot performed quite well on the meat. The sauce’s consistency held to the chicken and didn’t drip all over the place on the pork sandwiches. The heat level toned down a bit once on both meats as did the smoke flavor on the smoked pork.

The Cranberry sauce seemed a bit thinner and required one more application on the chicken before serving, yet blended nicely into the shreds of the pulled pork. With less smoke flavor than the original sauce, it left my hickory smoke on the pork alone yet gave the chicken a mild smokey taste.

Please read the rest of Gary Glen’s review HERE. Thank you Gary Glen for a great review. We are going to make some wings for the Super Bowl this weekend and apply Big Butz to the final product, my kids love sweet sauce and so we are excited to see how they come out.

You can buy Big Butz BBQ Sauce in all flavors at BBQ Pro Shop in the Sauces section.

Big Butz Tribute for 500th Follower

Tom takes his tweeting pretty seriously and is  a big member of the Twitter BBQ Community, I saw all of the chatter about this on Twitter. Didn’t know that he had mad YouTube skillz and was an amateur rapper as well, oh the talent!  Thought that I should share with you the man behind Big Butz BBQ Sauce, our newest addition to BBQ Pro Shop. Big Butz Most Popular Flavor!

BBQ Pro Shop is proud to be offering a new small batch BBQ sauce, made with love by Yah Butz in the Woods! Big Butz BBQ Sauce is available in four incredible flavors, Big Butz BBQ Original (Mild), Big Butz BBQ Hot, Big Butz BBQ X-Tra Hot and Big Butz BBQ Cranberry! Yah Butz in the Woods is a family owned business established in 2000. Yah Butz hand produces and bottles this special homemade small batch BBQ sauce called Big Butz BBQ Sauce.

Big Butz took over 7 years to develop. Yah Butz worked hard to find the exact balance of ingredients to create the ultimate barbecue sauce! Yah Butz recommends it for beef, pork, chicken, or anything else you can imagine, Big Butz B-B-Q Sauce enriches any dish with a tangy sweet flavor. This sauce speaks for itself. Tom can be found on Twitter at @BigButzBBQ and we wanted to get this on the site, look for a full review of the sauces from us in the coming days.

We fell in love with Big Butz because he works his butt off trying to do what he loves and sell it to the masses. Yah Butz is from Siren, WI and as a neighbor to our North, we love the fact that they make the sauce in a restored barn and that all of the pints bear the label, “Made in Wisconsin”. Support local brands and enjoy a product made with love.
