Elizabeth Karmel's Grill Friends Grill Brush with Replacement Heads is made from smooth black wood, brass and stainless steel. The brass bristle-head is tough enough to remove the dirt but soft on the finish of all cooking grates. And, the best news is that the brush comes with a replaceable brush head so it is like getting 2 brushes in one!
The brush head of most brass-bristle cleaning brushes wear out long before the handle and I always thought that it was a waste of a great handle to throw out the brush every time the brass bristles needed replacing. So, it was important to me to include a replacement brush head with the brush. Once the bristles are worn down, you unscrew the brush head and screw the new one in its place, explains Karmel. In addition to the replaceable brush head, the Grill Friends Brass Cleaning Brush has an off-set handle that gives you extra-leverage when you are cleaning the grates and a multi-use cleaning plate for scraping and detailing.

The Grill Friends Brass Cleaning Brush is weather resistant and includes a leather cord for hanging. Brass bristle brushes are recommended for ceramic grill grates.
