The Story of Our Sauce:
Deep in South Carolina Lowcountry of ancient ricefields. marshlands, where the tidewaters of the Ashepoo, Combahee, and Edisto rivers converge, a long abandoned plantation cabin was found.
On the back shelf of and old BlackJack wood-fired stove, a crumpled and yellowed recipe was discovered, revealing the lost secret ingredients of a marinade dear to the spirit of the South. Finally, BlackJack Sauce and its centuries old legend was reborn.
