    I try lots of brisket rubs but keep coming back to this one. For years Aaron Franklin and others swore Texas BBQ was only salt and pepper. Now everyone knows that is a bunch of hooey. Always put good coat of 16 mesh pepper on first. Than a good layer of this. If I decide to inject I will put small amount in spice blender and add to injection. Wrap between 170° and 180°. Cook until done. Usually 200°-210°. If possible let rest at 140° for 4-8 hours. Good as it gets.
