Code 3’s 5-0 Rub is one of those rare “masterpiece rubs” that I can put on anything and still can’t get enough. Great balance, incredible color and a backbone derived from a complex blend of chili peppers that brings tons of flavor while keeping the heat level in check.

I find it a little more zesty than sweet, with an overall flavor impression that’s bright with a pop of spice. The garlic and onion pair with moderate salt that tie it all together. Smoky chili peppers evoke a mysterious and interesting quality.
