Mississippi Meat Mafia

Mississippi Meat Mafia competition BBQ team was formed in 2018 as a team to compete in the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Competitions. The members came from different teams that had competed in BBQ and SCA Steak competitions for years. Their combined knowledge and recipes created these products that have taken home numerous awards and Top 10 walks at competitions throughout the years. Their line of Mafia inspired products; The Wiseguy's Sweet and Tangy Glaze/Sauce, The Smokin' Mexi - Cali Seasoning Blend, The Mafia's Anything & Everything Rub, The Godfather's Steak Seasoning and The Boss' Ribs and Wing Rub deliver the goods. 

Bobby Brewer, Jay Hughbanks, Dylan & Sonya Birkenstock started Mississippi Meat Mafia and quickly gathered some first place wins in SCA events including the world steak competition semifinals and the kickoff. They also have several top place finishes in chicken, ribs and other ancillaries including a 3rd place win at Memphis In May in seafood.

Sonya created a Hot Wing that people are still talking about that placed 2nd at Southaven Springfest. Both Dylan and Sonya have also placed multiple top 5 awards for ancillaries at various competitions. Jay has multiple wins on the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) circuit, including the biggest events at Memphis, TN and Ft. Worth, TX. including a flight win at the World Championship, he has what it takes to give the big boys a run for their money.
