Super Simple Smoked Queso Dip

The secret ingredient to every recipe is cheese and of course, flavor! We always suggest adding your favorite seasoning for a little extra punch of flavor to take a dish over the top and make it memorable. Here is a super simple smoked queso recipe from Mr. and Ms. Freak of Smoke Freaks that will hit just right every time. We love it because it's simple and allows for any customizations to fit you and your guests taste! For this recipe we added The Heavy Hitter Hot Rub from Mississippi Meat Mafia to heat up our smoked queso.

  1. Brown your favorite sausage in a skillet
  2. Dice up Velveeta, queso cheese & gouda
  3. Dice Up an onion
  4. Dice up a green and red pepper
  5. Fill a half-pan with all of the above and give it a mix
  6. Add an entire can of RoTel with liquid
  7. Add can of cream of celery soup
  8. Sprinkle 2T of your favorite rub on top (Mississippi Meat Mafia The Heavy Hitter Hot Rub)
  9. Put in your smoker at 325 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
  10. Serve with fresh corn tortilla chips
