    This rub is hands down the best I have used in 40 years of grilling and barbequing. It is a perfectly balanced blend of seasonings. When paired with the Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub to make layers of rub flavoring, it is unbeatable!

    It's named 'The BBQ Rub' for a reason - it's the best. I love the fact that it's not loaded with salt, so you can layer this rub on fairly heavy without worrying about overdoing it. Or better yet, apply a light layer of Heath Riles 'Garlic Jalapeno Rub' and a medium layer of this rub, and you'll have some damn good Q. Also the color this rub produces is phenomenal, producing a deep red bark on the finished product. Works best with Pork and Chicken.

    Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub has a hint of heat, a nice smoky flavor and a hint of sweetness which goes good with about anything you can throw on the backyard grill.

    Classic BBQ Flavor

    Killer Hogs products are consistently top-quality, and The BBQ Rub is no exception. It is sometimes noted for its sweetness, but I find it to be pretty balanced. The sugar also helps develop a "bark" or protective outer layer on smoked meats. I find it works best on pork shoulder and whole chickens, but it does well with nearly anything if layered with other seasonings such as the Killer Hogs AP seasoning or even just some kosher salt and black pepper to dial back the sweetness.
