Simple Cooking Recipes For Crock Pot Ribs

Simple Cooking Recipes For Crock Pot Ribs

It's easy to make your mouth water. When you cook pork ribs in a pan, the bones fall off. Crockpots are perfect for cooking ribs because they cook at very low temperatures for a long time. A closed slow cooker seals in the meat juices while cooking. You can use a grill to brown the ribs before or after slow cooking. Here's a simple casserole recipe that you can make at home without using a grill.

Ingredients: pork ribs, 1 bottle of regular barbecue sauce, 1 large onion, chopped, grilled

What You Need to Do:

  • Cut the ribs into small pieces that will fit in the slow cooker. Brush the sides well with the grill. Bake for 10-15 minutes. The ribs should be well browned, but not black or burned.
  • Place ribs over onions in a 4- to 6-quart pot. Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs. Cover and simmer for 6 to 9 hours. When done, the ribs should fall away from the bone.

4kg Pork ribs, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 3/4 cup ground beef, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/4 C ketchup 1/4 cup honey, 1 medium onion, salt and 1/2 black pepper, Red pepper powder or red pepper paste to taste (optional).

What you do:

  • Place the ribs in an airtight container and cover with the onion. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the ribs and refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours.
  • Turn the ribs in the marinade at least once. Place the ribs on and under the grill for 10–15 minutes. The ribs should be well browned, but not black or burned. Add the ribs, onions, and marinade to the slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 8–10 hours.
  • Depending on your preference, add red pepper paste or red pepper powder to the spices to add flavor.

The heating temperature of the pot or slow cooker may vary depending on the model. Keep the pan lid closed to ensure proper cooking. If you open the lid just a little, all the heat inside will be released, extending the cooking time of the food.

Using a BBQ injector can increase the flavor and juiciness of pork. It is used to season meats, such as pork ribs, to add flavor and moisture.
